The three trends I am most excited about include how we view data, understand algorithms, and interact with alternate realities.
This will result in greater transparency, accessibility, transparency, and transparency.
Three Web Development Trends

1. Data is beautiful
Data visualization is an effective tool for communicating information in a compelling way. The rules of data visualization are being rewritten by modern responsive web design technologies to make them more attractive and effective.
They replace traditional tools and methods like chaotic tables, crammed bars charts, and bar line drawings.
Interactive informatics allows you to easily navigate data and display discrepancies or ratios. Maps and photo albums can be created to display birds-eye views.
You can also alter the images to react to movement or other effects. You can combine data visualization with art to create personalized experiences.
A 3D globe shows the contributions of its members on GitHubs homepage. It also displays their geographical locations.
This animated visualization is an excellent example of animated visualizations that tell a companys stories. Project managers such as "If the Moon Were Only 1pixel", blend science and art to help people conceptualize facts. It is likely that you would ignore the fact that 91.8million miles separate the earth and the sun.
It is very different when its viewed in the context of an art project.
In recent years, there has been an increase of responsive websites and customer service that share data about users experiences.
Users are more comfortable sharing their data with companies if they feel it is being used in a positive way.
Everyone wants to compare their preferences with others. Take a look at Netflixs Global Top 10. Spotify reports offer insight into your tastes.
Instead of keeping data behind closed doors, companies should present it through interactive graphics and custom reports.
These visuals can influence peoples perceptions and decisions in a positive manner if done correctly. Similar to Apples screen-time reports, this can help people become more conscious of their habits.
However, I believe we will see companies continue to showcase how users interact with their products and sites over the next few decades.
2. Transparency and Recommendation Algorithms
Personalized recommendation systems control a lot of what we consume and play an important part in shaping online culture.
Algorithms can influence nearly every decision we make, including the recommendation of the next video, the route we should take, and the dating profiles we see.
Many users of mobile devices dont understand their functions. Netflix, for example, provides different artwork depending on which development service they use.
The end-user is not aware of this. Recommendation search engines marketing strategy is expected grow from $1.14 trillion in 2018 to $12.03 trillion by 2025.
The value proposition must be mutually beneficial. A working recommendation system can deliver relevant content to consumers and increase provider engagement metrics.
Users may feel that unique recommendation systems are more familiar with their preferences and needs than their close friends or even themselves.
Research has shown that recommendations go beyond expressing consumer preferences. They are a part of their daily lives.
When we shift from active discovery to passive consumption models that are optimized for engagement and quick emotional responses, our worldviews can be distorted.
Recommendation systems are competing to be noticed and learn from one another. Some users might feel trapped in a cycle of negative emotions that can lead to endless despair and doom.
This could lead to a negative outlook on the future.
It happens slowly and we don't know why. Michel Foucault, a French political philosopher described the immanence as being feared.
Is this a sign that we should eliminate such systems by 2022? When done right, these systems can be extremely beneficial.
In 2022, we should strive for transparency and customisation.
YouTube provides information about its mobile app users by way of a popup asking:
"Why am it that I see it?"
This popup will provide information about the reason the ad was shown to the user (such a persons age, geographic location and approximate interests).
Instagram and Google now offer the ability to opt out of targeted ads.
Consumers and the Federal government will press content providers to provide more information about their suggestions in future.
Popups asking why are you seeing it? Popups asking "Why am I seeing it?"will be typical on the platforms you utilise the most.
Why limit yourself to ads? It would be beneficial to have transparency and similar initiatives in algorithmic recommendations across all aspects.
Why was a particular video, product or post suggested? Do users have the same interests as you and are they interacting with this video? It is important to differentiate between posts that are recommended by algorithms and those the user chooses to follow.
Users should have the ability to edit and control their recommendations. Users should be able to modify, delete or temporarily disable recommendations.
They can also view and modify tags and cohorts. Users will be able to reset their pages or feeds, which would eliminate the possibility of siloed content bubbles and doom content spirals.
These systems are currently being investigated in detail and ongoing efforts are underway to quantify their impact.
These initiatives will continue to grow in 2022 and beyond. A system of accurate and ethical recommendation can make a big difference at the individual and group levels.

3. Augmented Reality, Virtual Reality, 3D Immersive Experiments
AR and VR are two of the most innovative technologies today. They alter the foundations of human-computer interaction, blurring the lines between real-world interactions and digital experiences.
Many responsive design teams are available and can be used in any industry. Visual cues can be used to learn how to play a musical instrument.
You can also sculpt without using any tools. From your living room, you could inspect buildings and furniture.
The precision of digitization (360 photogrammetries and light field) of real-world objects will enable AR/VR blurring the lines between digital interactions and real-world interactions.
These technologies will be integrated in many areas of our everyday lives.
Virtual worlds allow us to view the world from different perspectives, empathize better with foreign ideas and situations.
It wont happen overnight, but there are big changes ahead. As the hardware and tech that powers these customer experiences improve, access to this technology will grow exponentially.
