With the growth of the gaming market, there is a growing demand for gamedev specialists. Unity3D and Unity3D developers are the most in-demand roles.

Programmers may find the idea of becoming Unity developers appealing because it offers more creative work, the chance to make a hit game, and the ability to work on the product every step of the way.

Pawel Szpiczakowski, Unity Talent Mentor & Developer Advocate

Seniors with at least 7 years experience are well-suited for the IT market. TSG believes that experts are experts, regardless of the language they use.

We know that programmers who are skilled in programming can quickly learn new tools. We want to make it easier for seniors to get involved in the development and take on new challenges. They can make the transition to Unity Boost without having to start a new career.

We offer a Unity 3-month course for programmers and then employment.

What is the greatest advantage of this offer?

PawelTheUnity Boosts training program is free. Participants also get market-level remuneration.

They can retrain in the gaming industry without worrying too much about finances.

Who is Unity Boost aimed at?

Pawel: We are looking for experienced and talented senior developers to join our gamedev team. This is a great opportunity for anyone who wants something creative and to have fun at work.

We dont make software for other companies so we determine what products to create. There is a high chance that a team member will have a great idea. Programmers who are interested in more than just delivering code will find working with us a great opportunity.

TSG allows everyone to see the game in action, test different solutions, and continuously improve the product through feedback from end-users, i.e. the players.

What are the benefits to the training and getting Unity to know you?

Pawel: Participants are provided with our knowledge on how to create games. Our games have been very successful.

Through years of making games, our experts are proficient in Unity. We will try to explain this highly specialized knowledge in a simple way. Mentors are also available to help. They are both experienced and passionate about games.

We hope they will not only pass on their knowledge but also inspire participants with their passion for games.

What is the training?

Pawel: We will be covering various aspects of game development during the training. We will work together to solve the problems that the production process presents.

Unity Boost aims to make everyone more familiar with the game development process, from the initial idea through to the final product. Every participant should be able to create a fully functional, interactive game using Unitys most important systems: physics and UI.

To ensure that each module focuses on the most important aspect of the game, the entire training is broken down into modules. The lecturer will introduce the topic to participants. They will also receive training materials and a final task, such as catapult mechanics.

This will allow them to expand and strengthen their knowledge. Each module would cover and expand on previous lessons. This allows us to introduce Unity developers to create a mobile game that is fully functional and familiarize them with the functions and systems they will need for their daily work after the training program.

What makes game development different than other software development?

Pawel: Gamedev requires greater multidisciplinarity. While this doesnt necessarily mean everyone must know everything, everyone needs to be able to see how their work impacts the final product.

This includes how it interacts with other pieces such as graphics, balance, and the business perspective. TSG programmers often stress that their work has a tangible effect. Many people enjoy the satisfaction of creating games that are loved and recognized by millions of people around the world every day.

Gamedev also allows you to see and evaluate the work of your team. Changes are implemented quickly so teams can observe how they impact player satisfaction and business results.

How can people apply for the program?

Pawel: Its easy - anyone can submit their CV via the website. We will invite candidates to interview if they are suitable for the training.

How large is the program?

Pawel: We want to begin with only five participants as this is a pilot program. We are focusing on quality so we prefer to have a smaller group.

This allows us to provide mentoring and consultations with lecturers for each participant. The people who have been trained in this manner will be able to join our teams as highly qualified specialists working at the same level as our developers.

No matter what language you are coding in, we offer the chance to retrain and learn Unity with the guidance of experts.

After three months of training, you can join us as a Unity Developer.
